Make the relationships in your personal archive easier to see without sharing the underlying retirement records.
Build a generic records map
Use only the preset generic labels. Do not enter names, account or contract numbers, balances, Social Security numbers, dates of birth or document contents. No files are uploaded and nothing in these worksheets is sent to the publisher.
Your generic worksheet
Each row records an organizational label you chose. A row does not establish an official relationship between an employer, a plan, an account or a contract.

Start with generic labels only.

A map is an index, not an account inventory
An employer period, a plan label and a document set may appear together in your archive while describing different things. Keep those labels separate until a source establishes their relationship. A statement heading alone should not be treated as proof that two records belong to the same arrangement.
Use one generic alias consistently. For example, Employer A can connect to Plan group A and Record set A. If the relationship is uncertain, keep a separate row and preserve that uncertainty in your own notes rather than forcing a match here.
Start from what you have
Choose a document category already present in your saved archive. This tool does not search for additional records or identify accounts.
Separate repeated headings
Two documents with similar wording can still serve different purposes. Give an uncertain set its own generic label until you can clarify it.
Keep the key private
Any list connecting Employer A to an actual organization belongs in your secure offline archive. There is no field for that key here.
